About

I am a researcher and lecturer based in Vienna, Austria. My work is situated at the intersection of aesthetics and perception studies.

I hold a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Vienna and a MA in Art History from the University of Glasgow.

I am interested in the phenomenology of visual perception, cultural histories of attention and histories of seeing. Due to my professional background in the art market (Christie’s London, Dorotheum Wien), I have also developed a particular interest in connoisseurship and materiality.

Current activities

I am currently a post-doc researcher and lecturer at the department of Art History and Art Theory / Gender Studies / Curatorial Practice at Kunstuniversität Linz

Previously this year, I was a visiting researcher at the Center for Cultures and Technologies of Collecting at UWK.
