About

I am a researcher and lecturer based in Vienna, Austria. My work is situated at the intersection of aesthetics and perception studies.

I hold a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Vienna and a MA in Art History from the University of Glasgow.

I am interested in the phenomenology of visual perception, empirical aesthetics and cultural histories of attention. Due to my professional background in the art market (Christie’s London, Dorotheum Wien), I have also developed a particular interest in connoisseurship and materiality.
